Long distance moves are not charged by the hour, but by cubic feet, or volume. The price is estimated according to the actual number of items to be moved, and is binding. You must check that all of the items are present on the binding moving estimate. Should you require additional or less items to be moved on the move day, please let us know so we will provide you with a renewed and accurate estimate. Additionally, you can go with a non-binding estimate, in this case we’ll weigh your items at a weigh station, and charge accordingly.
Packing for long distance moves are charged based on the actual usage of packing materials, and there is a charge for actual packing labour done.
Included in price is your standard moving insurance (see Insurance for more details), and additional insurance can be obtained during or before the day of your move.
